Last but not least, we celebrate the Heritage of the Gungahlin Eagles, including their two Premiership sides from '84 and '86.

1984 - 1st Grade Premiers

In 1984 the Eagles won their 1st First Grade Premiership, an amazing achievement given that the club was only granted Premier Club status in 1973. Lead by Eagles legend – Leigh Donnellan the final score was Daramalan 22 def Royals 11

1986 – 1st Grade Premiers

In 1986 the Eagles won their 2nd First Grade Premiership, again lead by Eagles legend – Leigh Donnellan the final score was Daramalan 13 def Royals 9

1981,1982,& 1983 – CLUB CHAMPIONS

The years of the early ‘80s where very successful for the young Eagles club, being crowned Club Champions for 3 years in succession in 1981,1982 & 1983.

Whilst the young Eagles could not convert theoverall success of the club into a 1st Grade Premiership, there were many other reasons for celebration:

1982 -

2nd Grade Minor Premiership

3rd Grade Minor Premiership & Premiers
