ACT Juniors Excel At NSW Championships
The ACT junior representative sides have performed remarkably well at this year's 2019 NSW State Championships with our U13's taking home the 2019 title.
A tournament which has berthed many Brumbies stars across it’s 50 year run, all sides ranging from U12 to U16’s gave it their all, though the headlines will belong to this year’s U13 group.
The future Brumbies were superb across the grueling 3 day tournament, winning all six of their games in supreme fashion, beating a big Parramatta squad in the semi and ending the weekend as champions thanks to a 19-10 victory over Victoria.
Luck wasn’t on the side of the ACT U16’s and U14’s unfortunately, both teams falling at the final hurdle. The U16’s lost 12 - 19 to the home side Warringah Rep squad in front of a boisterous crowd at ‘Rat Park’ Narrabeen whilst the U14’s were narrowly beaten 17 - 19 to a Gordon in the final in Orange.
