The Brumbies Under 15s side is currently training for the Junior Gold Cup, a tournament where teams from across Australia will compete over a week of matches.
The squad is made up of junior players from across the ACT and Capital region of NSW.
They will play in the Southern Conference of the competition, alongside a Melbourne Rebels team and three teams made up from players in the NSW Waratahs junior system.
This year the tournament is being held at the Andrew Petrie Oval in Rose Bay, Sydney. The tournament begins on Sunday the 29th of September and runs until Saturday the 5th of October.
Our young guns have been training twice a week in preparation for their opening game of the tournament against the Rebels.
The Brumbies will then have Monday off to rest and recuperate before playing afternoon matches on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
The winner of the Southern Conference will then face off against the winner of the North Conference at 1pm on the Saturday to crown the winner of the week-long rugby extravaganza.
The tournament is an opportunity for young players to develop their game and spend time in a high-performance environment, getting guidance from a great team of staff headed by coach Paul Mead.
