The Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies are enjoying another great season of getting juniors excited about rugby in 2024.

The Get into Rugby Budding Brumbies presented by Allhomes is once again a massive hit with both the parents and young ones as it provides a fun and interactive way to learn the game.

Providing a safe and inclusive environment, our five attending Brumbies Development Officers and casual staff ensure participants get their entry level fix of rugby in an engaging way.

With the occasional visit from Brumbies stars like guest appearances by Ed Kennedy, Jack Debreczeni and Charlie Cale at the last event, juniors may even get their chance to meet their heroes!

Thanks again to Allhomes for sponsoring the program, we greatly appreciate the support and contribution from the team with these sort of programs, focusing on the community game and in developing future Brumbies women's and men’s players.

Already boasting strong attendances in the first programs of the year, there are still two offerings of Budding Brumbies for kids aged 4-12 before winter programs kick off in May.

Parent Megan Mitchell says the Brumbies first ever summer program has been a massive positive for her sons Tyler and Ryan attending the event.

"It's really engaging for them and they have just come away wanting more. They absolutely loved seeing some Brumbies players there and getting to meet their idols," said Mitchell.

"The kids are loving the opportunity to learn some skills of the game as well, which is great to see especially in a team environment while they build confidence and connect with the community."
