Young talent was on display at the Super 7s rugby tournament on Saturday 4 November as more than 40 teams descended on Parramore Park in Wagga Wagga.
The third instalment of the competition provided a platform for male and female players U14 through to U18 to showcase their skills and stay active in the off season.
With over 550 players, the grounds were roaring as 800 spectators enjoyed the warm and sunny weather, watching teams go toe-to-toe for glory.
Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies Development Manager Cory Larsen said: “Congratulations to all of the teams who participated in the weekend’s tournament, particularly to those who were crowned champions in their division.
“There was plenty of enthusiasm, fast feet and speed demonstrated across the board.
“A big thank you to Wagga Wagga City Council for their ongoing support in bringing quality rugby competitions like this to the region for the third year in a row.
“It was a great weekend had by all and we can’t wait to bring action-packed days like this back again next year.”
