The ACT Brumbies U19s have secured themselves a spot in the Final of the Super Rugby Men’s U19 Championship going undefeated across the four-match campaign.

Finishing top of the table and earning hosting rights, the U19s will face the NSW Waratahs at 2:30pm on Sunday 5 November at Seiffert Oval, as the visitors aim to defend their 2022 title.

Facing each other in Round 1 at Viking Park, the Brumbies claimed a two-point victory over the Waratahs 24-22, going on to defeat the Rebels 37-5, the Force 54-18 and the Reds 21-17.

Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies Head of Elite Pathways & Player Development, and U19s Head Coach Daniel Hooper said: “We’re extremely proud of the squad’s efforts across the competition so far.

“We’ve seen not only great teamwork but some outstanding individual performances from the players.

“The NSW Waratahs are a tough opponent, as we learnt in round one, however the boys are focused and ready for the fight on Sunday.”

The U16s final between the NSW Waratahs and Qld Reds will be played at Seiffert Oval before the U19s fixture, kicking off at 12pm AEDT.

Both the U16s and U19s Finals will be broadcast live, on-demand and ad-free on Stan Sport.
