Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies Hudson Creighton and recent debutant Lachlan Shaw have made a guest appearance at Black Mountain School in O'Connor to expose young fans to some basic rugby skills.

The Brumbies duo took several groups through a set of fun activities giving an opportunity to learn some passing, kicking and even giving an opportunity to let off some steam with a tackle bag.

Having all participants jump at the chance to get involved in rugby during the visit, it was clear both Creighton and Shaw have some new supporters.

Black Mountain School youth worker Ben Tegram said it was a great opportunity to see students engaging with rugby in such a positive way.

"We benefit as the students get to access some sports opportunities they wouldn't normally get to access," said Tegram.

"It's just great for the players to come in and interact with the students and get that community connection going. It's all accessible as well which is really cool to get the students participating in this physical activity."
