The 2024 Capital Cup will take place in the ACT on Saturday the 14th of September giving both ACT and Southern NSW representatives further opportunity to showcase their rugby prowess.

Featuring a City (ACT) and Country (Southern NSW) side in both the men's and women's events, as well as a Brumbies U19's side contesting for the men's title, the Capital Cup also serves as a further opportunity for additional representative selections. With the ACT and SNSW Griffins and Kestrels squads in mind, coaches are sure to be given a selection headache once again in this year's event.

Nominations for Capital Cup coaching appointments are currently open and will be closing on Friday 5th July. Once Country Coaches have been appointed, they will review the matches played at Brumbies Provincial Championships to select an initial squad for the upcoming event.

Meanwhile city squads will be announced following the regular season of the Canberra's Premier Rugby competitions the John I Dent Cup and Premier XV's.

Further details to come.
