The Southern Inland men and women have done the double in Bungendore this afternoon at the 2025 Brumbies Provincial Championships claiming hefty wins in both matches over Monaro.
With the best of the regions coming together in the Bungendore Mudchooks backyard, it was the sides in black and red that proved too strong on the day, as the women would claim a 24-5 win while the men would manage a 72-10 victory over their Monaro counterparts.
With the women looking too strong all across the park, it was a grand effort from Monaro to hold them to just 24 points. SIRU were dominant in set piece while their women out back showed off their skills out wide.
Meanwhile, the men would follow suit in a very similar fashion dominating the first half. However the scoreboard would slow down in the second 40 as Monaro put up a strong defensive effort while nabbing a couple tries of their own.
